Best Gaming Mouse
Having the best gaming mouse can make all the difference to your entire gaming experience. Whether you’re playing your favourite online shooter or an MMO, having your most-used skills bound to programmable buttons can give you an edge over a traditional mouse. Of course, most gaming mice look pretty flashy too and can complement the look of any high-end gaming PC.
As well as the advantage that the best mouse can give you when playing your favourite games, it’s the main way you interact with your PC, alongside the best gaming keyboard. You want it to be comfortable under your palm with the buttons in easy reach. Longer gaming sessions shouldn’t feel like a chore for your mouse hand.
Aside from the look and feel, what should you look for when choosing a gaming mouse? The CPI is generally a good indicator of accuracy—the higher the better—as well as the quality of the sensor. Having said that, unless you’re playing super competitive games or twitch shooters, even the Logitech MX Vertical, with the lowest CPI on this list, should be adequate for most gamers.
We’ve tested a load of the best gaming mice and listed our favourites below. We’ve included a couple of wireless options for those that want to cut down on cord clutter and tried to cover a range of price points to suit most budgets.

Really good wireless mouse, but because I have small hand the sniper button is harder to reach. I went instead with the Logitech Pro mouse, lighter and least button but better grip for me. If you like the G502 wired you don’t go wrong with this one. It’s heavier than the Pro without any weight add to it, but this one you can add more weight to it. so if you want a heavier mouse go with G502 wireless. Overall excellent mouse!
2. Razer Deathadder Elite
The best gaming mouse for shooters
Equipped with the new eSports-grade optical sensor that has true 16,000 DPI and true tracking at 450 Inches Per Second (IPS), the Razer DeathAdder Elite gives you the absolute advantage of having the fastest sensor in the world. Engineered to redefine the standards of accuracy and speed, this incredible mouse sensor crushes the competition with a Resolution Accuracy of 99.4 percent, so you can land more killing blows with pinpoint precision.1000 Herz Ultrapolling.
I had been looking for a gaming mouse with a sleek, clean design without so many buttons, this is by far the best one. There are 2 easy to reach thumb buttons, 2 DPI adjustment buttons and a strong scroll wheel with notches to avoid accidentally scrolling. There are two grips on the right and left to have ultimate control when holding the mouse and moving it quickly without slipping.
Razer’s website has user-friendly software that you can download for free to customize any of the buttons on the mouse and adjust the increments for the DPI. I love this because the default DPI settings are either too sensitive or not enough, but with the software I was able to fine tune everything to my own liking. The optical sensors are great and thus far have not given me a single issue.
With the software I am also able to easily customize the colour scheme on the mouse, with various presets or solid colours to choose from.
I love that the left and right click buttons are curved to allow better control and faster clicking. The only downside to this mouse is that it is quite light at 105 g / 0.23 lbs.

If you’re in the market for an entry-level gaming mouse, look no further, this is the mouse for you. Trust me. Whether for you or someone else you can’t go wrong with this mouse. I decided to create a huge review guide for people like me who just absolutely need to see detailed reviews before they pull the trigger on the product. Below is a pros and cons list and below that is a detailed paragraph about this mouse if you’re a reader :-)
- RGB Lighting (And not some solid color BS, like 12.8 million colors breathing effects type of stuff)
- Depressed Area Left and Right click, helps keep your grip on the mouse (picture for example)
- Smooth design and texture great for claw holders
- 8000 dpi sensor with ability to change in increments of 50 (7950, etc.)
- DPI Button with up to 4 on-the-fly dpi changes (also can be programmed to a key)
- 2 custom buttons both on the inside of the mouse (more on that below)
- No Braided Cable (they fray)
